10 Frequently Asked Questions
What is an electrodynamic vibration test system?
An electrodynamic vibration test system uses a moving coil inside a magnetic field to generate controlled vibration. It reproduces sine, random, shock and sweep profiles to verify that products survive transportation and operational vibration environments per MIL-STD-810G, IEC 60068-2-6 and related standards.
Which ES model should I choose?
Choose by three parameters: required force (N), frequency range (Hz) and maximum sample weight (kg). For light samples up to 70 kg, ES-1 or ES-2 is sufficient. For heavier loads up to 300 kg, ES-10 or ES-20 is recommended. Contact us with your test profile and we will match the right model.
What is the difference between VT and LT expanders?
Vertical expanders (VT series) mount on top of the shaker and provide a horizontal test surface for vertical-axis vibration. Horizontal expanders (LT series) redirect vibration to a horizontal axis. VT is simpler; LT provides higher acceleration within a more compact installation.
What test standards are supported?
Designed to meet MIL-STD-810G requirements. Common test types include fixed frequency, sweep back and forth, sine, random and shock. IEC 60068-2-6 (sinusoidal vibration) and ISO 16750-3 (road vehicle mechanical loads) are also supported.
What is the lead time and MOQ?
Made-to-order. Typical lead time is 45–90 working days after deposit, depending on shaker model, expander configuration and controller. MOQ is 1 unit. Factory direct pricing available.
